Nupur Shikhare, an Indian celebrity fitness trainer and consultant, has expertise in Calisthenics and Movements. Since 2008, he has been providing training to former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen. In 2020, he gained attention when he began dating Ira Khan, the daughter of renowned actor Aamir Khan.

From a young age, Nupur displayed a strong passion for sports, particularly tennis. Additionally, he received professional training in Capoeira at a Martial arts school located in Pune. Here is a childhood photo of Nupur Shikhare.

Despite being a national-level tennis player and having aspirations of pursuing a career in the sport, his inclination towards filmmaking grew stronger when he relocated from Pune to Mumbai in 2004.

Afterwards, Nurpur created a few short films and videos that grabbed the interest of a Marathi film director. Impressed by his work, the director extended an offer to Nurpur to join as an assistant director.

After a short period as an assistant director, he managed to secure a position as a fitness trainer at the gym where he previously worked out.

During an interview, Nupur reminisced about the early days of his career when he would wander around Bandra, distributing his business cards and actively seeking employment opportunities within the high-end gyms of the vicinity.

Nupur Shikhare and Sushmita Sen’s collaboration marked a significant milestone in his life on 28th March 2008, as he was hired as a personal trainer by Sushmita Sen.

Afterward, he has served as a fitness trainer for several notable Bollywood personalities, such as Aamir Khan, Ira Khan, and Kiran Rao.

Nupur Shikhare took part in his inaugural triathlon, Ironman 70.3 Taiwan, in 2014. Since then, he has actively engaged in several long-distance multisport races, including Ironman Copenhagen 2017 and Canthon – Cancer Awareness Run in 2019. Notably, he secured the second position in the Canthon event that year.

He took part in the reality show competition Ultimate Beastmaster: India in 2017. The show, available for streaming on Netflix, featured athletes from India and five other nations as they tackled a challenging obstacle course in a bid to claim the championship.
He served as the action director for the Disney India TV series Aladdin in 2018.
