Marco Jansen joined North West cricket club on 8th April 2018, marking his debut in List-A matches for the team in the 2017-18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge. He then went on to make his First-class debut for North West in the 2018-19 CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup on 11th October 2018.

Duan Jansen, the twin brother of Marco Jansen, participated in the 2017-18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge as a player for North West.
