In 1993, Namrata Shirodkar, a former Indian model and actor, achieved the prestigious honor of being crowned Femina Miss India.

This is a childhood picture of Namrata Shirodkar, who hails from a Maharashtrian Goan family residing in Mumbai.

At 15 years old, she was introduced to Gautam Rajadhyaksha, an acclaimed Indian fashion photographer, by her mother, a former Indian model. Namrata had the opportunity to do a photoshoot with Gautam, and her stunning pictures caught the attention of Hemant Trivedi, a renowned Indian fashion designer. Impressed by her talent, Hemant invited Namrata to showcase his designs on the runway for one of his fashion shows. Excited by the offer, she embraced the opportunity, marking the beginning of her successful career as a model. Over time, Namrata confidently graced the catwalks of numerous prestigious fashion shows, captivating audiences with her elegant and graceful presence.

In 1993, Namrata Shirodkar competed in the Miss Universe pageant as the representative from India. As part of the competition, she was asked if she wished to have eternal life. On January 14, 2016, she joined AMB Cinemas LLP as a partner in the film production company. Additionally, she serves as a director in two other firms: G Mahesh Babu Entertainment Private Limited, established on January 28, 2014, and Mahesh Babu Foundation, established on June 24, 2021.
