Naseem Shah, primarily known as a bowler, is a Pakistani cricketer representing the Pakistan national cricket team.

Naseem Shah’s vintage photograph captures his upbringing in Mayar Jandool, Lower Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, where he was raised in a middle-class family.

From a young age, he fostered a passion for cricket and aspired to represent his nation at the international level.

Naseem’s career choice in cricket didn’t sit well with his father, who preferred him to seek employment abroad instead.

In his village, he began playing tape-ball cricket as a child.

After a couple of years, his uncle took the initiative to enroll him at the Abdul Qadir cricket academy in Lahore, where coach Sulaman Qadir provided him with training.

When he turned 13, he embarked on his cricket journey by joining the Lahore Under-16 cricket team.
