During an interview, she revealed that becoming an actor had always been her childhood dream. However, she found it daunting to share this aspiration with her parents and it took her years to gather the courage to do so, as she was unsure of their approval. Her parents were concerned about the unpredictable nature of the acting profession, where one day you could be successful and the next day without any work. They believed that pursuing a business or a job with a stable monthly salary was a more secure option. Nevertheless, she firmly believed that once she committed to the path of acting, there would be no turning back unless she faced significant setbacks. As she grew older, she gradually gained the bravery to open up about her passion to her parents. <br><br>After completing her studies in medicine, she had a conversation with her parents about her future aspirations. She expressed that she no longer had any desire to pursue medicine and had only chosen the subject to please them. She admitted that she had lost interest in studying altogether. Despite her academic achievements, including a 98 percent in graduation and completing post-graduation, her parents remained fixated on their dream for her to become a doctor. They even made her sit for the PMT exam. Reluctantly, she agreed to take the test but made it clear that her true passion lied in a creative field. During college, she dedicated four years to theater before pursuing her post-graduation. Consequently, it took her a total of six years to complete her studies. Finally, her parents granted her permission to pursue a career in films, which was her ultimate goal.

In 2020, Tania made appearances in multiple Punjabi music videos including Maninder Buttar’s “Teri Meri Ladayi,” Gippy Grewal’s “Me & U,” and Karan Aujla’s “Kya Baat Aa.”
