In an interview with The Times of India, Sumbul Touqeer opened up about her parents’ divorce when she was just six years old. Despite the challenges that came with the separation, Sumbul found solace in her father, who took on the roles of both a father and a mother. He would wake Sumbul and her sister up every morning, help them get ready for school, prepare breakfast, and then head off to work once they were taken care of. While they were living in Delhi, Sumbul maintained a close relationship with her mother, and her father had no objections to that. However, things took a turn when they moved to Mumbai, and unfortunately, Sumbul lost touch with her mother. The interview also included a heartwarming picture of Sumbul with her beloved father during her early years.
Her father, a dance choreographer for various dance reality shows, encouraged her to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. During an interview, Sumbul expressed her gratitude towards her father, stating that he always had high aspirations for his children.
