Jasmin Bhasin was born into a middle-class family in Kota, Rajasthan during her childhood.

After completing her graduation, she secured a marketing internship at American Express. Subsequently, she pursued an internship in the hospitality industry. During her time as a hospitality intern, she received an enticing opportunity to embark on a modeling assignment.

She has gained experience as a model by featuring in numerous print advertisements and TV commercials.

In 2011, a Tamil director noticed her while she was working as a model for a jewellery advertisement. Impressed by her, he extended an offer for a role in his Tamil film ‘Vaanam’.

Some of the South Indian films she has worked in include ‘Karodpathi’ (2014), ‘Veta’ (2014), and ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’ (2015).

In 2017, she gained popularity through the Hindi TV serial ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’. Following that, she starred in the well-received ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ in 2019, and also appeared in ‘Naagin: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel’ during the same year.

She has made appearances in multiple TV reality shows such as ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9’ (2019), ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’ (2019), ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi– Made in India’ (2020), and ‘Bigg Boss 14’ (2020).

In 2016, as she was heading back from the filming of one of her TV series, she was involved in an accident. During an interview, she recounted the incident and stated,

My new car suffered extensive damage due to a collision with a fast-moving bicycle. Fortunately, neither my driver nor anyone else was injured, but the car itself was severely affected.

In 2016, she received two ‘Gold Awards’ for her television series ‘Tashan-E-Ishq’.

During the interview, she reminisced about her childhood memories and openly shared them.

I reside in Raja Park, where my maternal grandparents also live. In this neighborhood, my nana ji owns a shop situated in Bapu Bazaar. As a tradition, every summer, right after my final exams, my mother would send me off to my grandparents’ house in Jaipur. During this time, we would frequently visit nana ji’s shop, and I would joyfully wander around the market, tightly gripping his finger, clad in adorable Jaipuri lehengas.”
