Dino James, a multi-talented artist hailing from India, is recognized for his unique storytelling approach that shines through his work as a rapper, singer, lyricist, composer, and actor.

Although his parents were from Kerala, he was born and raised in Madhya Pradesh.

From a young age, James aspired to pursue a career in acting. At the tender age of eighteen or nineteen, he made the bold decision to relocate to Mumbai. There, he enrolled in acting classes, determined to transform his lifelong dream into a reality.

Prior to embarking on his career as a rapper, he dabbled in over twenty different professions, which ranged from being an assistant director, a spot boy, a fitness trainer, a guitar teacher, to even working as a junior artist.

His acting journey began with collaborations with an advertising agency, where he showcased his talent in various advertisements. Additionally, he made fleeting appearances and guest roles in several TV shows. However, a pivotal moment arrived when his friend, Salman Firoz, enlightened him about his potential as a writer, which resonated deeply within him.

The rapper, who had faced nearly 8 years of hardship in Mumbai, made the decision to return to his hometown in order to assist his father with his work, as his own career aspirations in Mumbai had not come to fruition.

He returned to Mumbai in 2012, filled with aspirations to establish his career. Four years later, in 2016, he released his debut song titled “Loser”.
