Some Lesser Known Facts About Dr Robin Radhakrishnan

In 2022, Robin Radhakrishnan, an Indian doctor, actor, motivational speaker, and scriptwriter, took part in the TV reality show Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4.

During his school years, he was considered a below-average student. However, when asked about this in an interview, he revealed that despite his struggles in exams and being a backbencher, his parents, like any typical parents, encouraged him to learn from his peers. Moreover, he had to deal with the challenges of being overweight and feeling uncomfortable, which caused him to withdraw from various activities and constantly feel isolated. Nevertheless, he never lost faith in his dreams and with determination, he devoted himself to studying diligently. As a result, he successfully passed the medical entrance exam and gained admission to Chidambaram Government Medical College. Once he finished his MBBS degree, he commenced his practice at GG Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Interestingly, this was the very hospital where he entered the world.

Afterward, he ventured into creating motivational videos for his Instagram followers and also shared them on his self-titled YouTube channel. In an interview discussing his motivational videos, he revealed that his very first video aimed at ‘demotivating people’, but he doesn’t consider himself a motivational speaker. Instead, he shares relatable and straightforward experiences from his 29 years of life, often highlighting unnoticed aspects. As his follower count grew, individuals started reaching out to him directly, sending him a minimum of 2,000 messages daily, spanning from eighth graders to middle-aged men. Surprisingly, they feel comfortable confiding in him about their problems. He never expected to have such a positive impact, but he makes it a priority to respond to every message, hoping that his small efforts can be of assistance to them. Despite being an ordinary person who also experiences down and moody moments, he consistently strives to be selfless when it comes to brightening someone’s day.

In addition, Dr. Robin has appeared in Malayalam cover songs like K S Harisankar’s “Mizhiyariyathe” (2018), “Pavizha Mazhaye” (2019), and “Jiya Jale” (2019).
