• Rivaba Ravindrasinh Jadeja, an Indian politician and the wife of renowned Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, gained significant attention in November 2022. She received a ticket from the Bharatiya Janta Party to run for the Gujarat assembly elections in the Jamnagar North constituency.

• One of the participants in the 2018 protest against the film ‘Padmavat,’ featuring Deepika Padukone, was Rivaba Jadeja.

• Rivaba Jadeja started her career as a social worker in Gujarat, where she actively advocated for women’s rights. In 2018, she was appointed as the chief of the women’s wing of Karni Sena, a right-wing organization representing the Kashtriya community. During the same year, Rivaba Jadeja joined the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) as a party worker in Gujarat. Her induction into the party took place in the presence of Gujarat’s Agriculture Minister R C Faldu and MP Poonam Madam. In 2018, Rivaba Jadeja made the decision to align herself with the BJP.

• Rivaba Jadeja gained notoriety in 2018 when she became embroiled in a scandal after colliding her car with a police constable’s bike in Jamnagar city, Gujarat. Promptly, she informed the nearby police station about the incident and alleged that the constable had assaulted her. Conversely, the constable accused Rivaba of reckless driving.
