- After graduating in 2005, Rubika joined Live India in June 2007 and remained with the channel until September 2008.
- Anchoring and serving as a senior correspondent, she joined the channel News 24 in 2008.
- Afterwards, Rubika embarked on her reporting and anchoring journey with Zee News.
