Pit’s venture into rap began during his high school years when his mother, who was struggling to make ends meet, unfortunately had to ask him to leave due to his involvement in drug sales. It was during this challenging time that he found inspiration from influential artists such as Nas and The Notorious B.I.G.

Pitbull’s relationship with his father, who earned a substantial income in the streets, was intricate. It was during this period that Pitbull came to the realization that fast money has a tendency to swiftly vanish.

The song “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” by Pitbull reached the second position on the Billboard Hot 100, making it his first internationally recognized hit.
