Some Lesser Known Facts About Inspector Avinash Mishra
- Avinash Mishra, a retired police officer of the Uttar Pradesh Police from the 1982 batch, gained recognition for his involvement in over 150 encounters with notorious criminals. His name became widely known in May 2023 following the premiere of the web series “Inspector Avinash,” which depicts Mishra’s life and experiences as a dedicated cop.

Mishra, while being interviewed, expressed deep embarrassment over the situation. He stated, “It was an incredibly humiliating turn of events. After publicly announcing his death, we were now confronted with the sudden revelation that he was actually alive. This only further reinforces the saying, ‘No one can harm what is protected by fate.'”
