In November 2022, a video went viral in which Dr Vikas compared Sita With ‘Ghee Licked By Dog’ while he was giving a lecture to the UPSC aspirants. In the lecture, he quoted the Ramayana and said that lord Rama did not fight the war with Ravana for Sita because she was like the ‘ghee licked by a dog’ and not ‘eligible’ for him.   • , hailing from a middle-class family in Bhiwani, Haryana, completed his education in his hometown. His passion for politics was evident from a young age as he emerged victorious in numerous parliamentary elections held at his school.
  • During the interview, he openly admitted struggling with the English language and consistently failing the subject throughout his academic years. Nevertheless, he somehow found a way to successfully pass the yearly exams.

During this attempt, his chosen optional subject was philosophy. Additionally, he spent four months teaching at DAV College while simultaneously preparing for his third UPSC attempt.
  • In 1999, he received his joining letter from the central secretariate, but he chose not to join at that moment. However, he eventually decided to join in order to resolve his debts. He secured a position as a desk/section officer in the Rajbhasha department under the ministry of home affairs. Despite working there for six months, he left the job due to a lack of job satisfaction.
