Ravi Bishnoi’s mother, Sohni Devi, takes great pleasure in watching cricket. They often sit together as a family to enjoy cricket matches. A photo depicts Ravi Bishnoi with his sisters, elder brother, and mother, all gathered together.

In 2013, Ravi Bishnoi and his friends took on the challenge of creating the Spartans Cricket academy in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, despite limited resources and opportunities. They dedicated themselves to the project, personally handling most of the laborious tasks. A photograph from that year immortalizes the remarkable moment of their venture. Today, the academy stands as a testament to their hard work, producing exceptional young talents.

Bishnoi would commute to his academy, located 20 km away from his residence, by riding his bicycle.

Ravi used to be a medium-fast bowler, but after receiving advice from his coach Shahrukh Pathan, he switched to bowling spin.

According to The Times of India, Bishnoi chose to forgo his 12th standard exams in 2018 in order to bowl at the nets of Rajasthan Royals camp in Jaipur. This decision proved to be a turning point in his career as he caught the attention of renowned cricket players and his trajectory began to rise.

In the BCCI Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2019, he proudly represented Rajasthan and showcased his incredible talent by claiming a remarkable 17 wickets in just 7 matches. His outstanding performance earned him the prestigious title of being the leading wicket-taker in the entire tournament. As a result of this spectacular achievement, he was selected to be a part of the U19 Cricket World Cup 2020, solidifying his position as a rising star in the cricketing world.

With a total of 17 wickets, Ravi Bishnoi emerged as the leading wicket-taker in the U19 Cricket World Cup 2020, making him the highest wicket-taker in the tournament’s history for an Indian player. The final of the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2020 witnessed Ravi Bishnoi’s elated celebration after successfully dismissing a Bangladeshi batsman.

Ravi secured a 2 crore IPL contract with Kings XI Punjab for IPL 2020, thanks to his consistent performance.

Ravi Bishnoi, a young talent, is widely regarded by the cricket fraternity as a future spin bowling prodigy for India.
