- Akhil Marar, an Indian director primarily known for his work in Malayalam cinemas, rose to prominence following his triumphant participation in the reality show Big Boss Malayalam Season Five, aired on Asianet.
- After completing his Bachelor’s degree, Akhil joined a medical company as a representative. He later advanced to the position of area manager in another medical company. However, due to his breakup with his girlfriend, Akhil made the decision to resign from his job.
- Following his departure from his position at the medical company, Akhil wasted no time in establishing a juice kiosk called Alchemist in Kottathala, Kollam District, Kerala. During an interview, Akhil delved into the details of his juice shop and shed light on the reasoning behind its name. He explained that he drew inspiration from a book that instilled in him the courage to chase after his dreams, prompting him to resign from his government job and embark on a journey toward his ultimate goal. Abandoning his studies and career, he took a leap into the realm of entrepreneurship by launching a juice shop to sustain himself, fittingly christening it after his beloved book, “Alchemist.”
