From his early years, he has harbored a deep fascination for drama, frequently engaging in dance and drama performances.

Although his parents had aspirations for him to pursue engineering, he lacked enthusiasm for academic pursuits and instead held a strong inclination towards sports.

In the past, he was a rugby player for a club located in Delhi.

He took a leap in his acting career at the age of 16 by joining the cast of Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, a show broadcasted on Star Plus. In the series, he portrayed the character of Jaichand, the younger brother of Prithvi Raj Chauhan.

Following his TV show, he ventured into the world of modeling only to encounter numerous rejections.

After contributing to the renowned international designer Roberto Cavalli’s advertisement campaigns, he quickly rose to fame. His talent and success led to numerous features in popular magazines such as Redbook, Gladrags, and Men’s Health.

He achieved the Mr Gujarat title in 2007, as well as securing the second runner-up position in the Gladrags mega-model competition.

He was 22 years old when he auditioned for Anubhav Sinha’s movie and was chosen. As a result, he relocated to Mumbai. Unfortunately, the movie was canceled.

Throughout his life, he has encountered numerous hardships, one of which included working as a clapper boy during the production of the film Ra.One.

He has a strong addiction to hot chocolate, to the extent that he would deceive his grandmother by fabricating reasons to borrow money, only to spend it solely on hot chocolate every single time.

In his school days, Sid admired Shah Rukh’s iconic hairdo from DDLJ so much that he would proudly sport the same hairstyle.

Making a grand debut in Bollywood, he entered the industry with his first movie “Student of the Year (SOTY).” While filming the project, he embarked on a romantic relationship with a girl from South Africa.

The year 2014 saw the film “Ek Villain” receiving immense praise from the audience, earning him great accolades. Additionally, Salman Khan, being a fan of the movie, presented him with a watch as a token of appreciation.

In order to accurately portray the physique of Akshay Kumar in the film Brothers, the actor diligently gained approximately 10 kg of weight. Furthermore, he committed to bathing with ice cold water.

During an interview, he admitted that chocolate was his ultimate weakness. Although he could increase his workout routine, he confessed that living without it was simply not an option for him.
