• Shivin Ganesan, an Indian transgender model, gained fame in 2022 when she participated in the reality show Big Boss Tamil Season 6 on Star Vijay. In the upcoming season 6 (2022) of Big Boss Tamil, Shivin Ganesan will be joining as a contestant.

• She hails from a Tamil family and was born in Devakottai, a town situated near Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu.

Our relationship was well-known and admired by everyone in the village. Unfortunately, my mother never approved and believed that the boy’s parents would curse me for being a transgender woman in a relationship with their son.” Reluctantly, Shivin followed her mother’s wishes and ended the relationship. She later discovered that he had settled in Singapore but had developed some addictive habits, according to information from friends. Shivin’s only hope for him is to overcome these addictions and find a supportive partner.

During an interview, she shared her distressing ordeal, recalling how she was confined within the four walls of a room, with her own family depriving her of any chance to step outside its boundaries. Meals were passed to her through a small opening in the door, but she was forbidden from interacting with anyone else in the household. Moreover, she recounted instances of enduring physical abuse at their hands.
