Some Lesser Known Facts About Dev Mohan
- Dev Mohan, an Indian model and actor, gained recognition for his contributions to Malayalam and Telugu cinema. In the year 2023, he marked his debut in the Telugu film industry with the mesmerizing mythological drama titled ‘Shaakuntalam.’
- Prior to his foray into the showbiz industry, he held a corporate position at an IT Hub in Bangalore.
- While working in Bangalore, Dev received a suggestion from one of his friends to explore modelling. Intrigued by the idea, Dev decided to give it a try and participated in the prestigious beauty pageant, Mr India 2016. His dedication to fitness and regular workouts played a significant role in his journey. It was during his gym sessions that his Iranian friend, Amin, who is a model himself, motivated Dev to consider trying out modelling and even participating in Mr India. Taking Amin’s advice to heart, Dev took a leap of faith and successfully made it to the top 15 contestants in the competition, an accomplishment he proudly shared in an interview.
- Throughout 2019, he actively backed multiple funding campaigns dedicated to gathering generous donations for those adversely affected by the devastating floods in Kerala.
- During an interview, Dev Mohan disclosed that upon the release of the trailer for his first Malayalam film, a few of his acquaintances doubted his involvement and had to watch the trailer twice to verify. He mentioned that his colleagues and friends were intrigued by his decision to grow out his beard and hair. Their astonishment came when the film trailer was revealed on June 24. Some even went as far as watching it twice in order to confirm that it was truly him!
