On 22 August 2022, Sonali Phogat, an Indian actress and politician, passed away in Goa due to a heart attack.

In 2006, she made her debut in the television industry as an anchor on Doordarshan’s Haryanvi show.

Her husband, Sanjay Phogat, passed away under mysterious circumstances at his farmhouse in Hisar in the year 2016.
