She had once been awarded a gold medal at the Republic Day Parade in Delhi during her time as an NCC cadet.

After completing her post-graduation, she had never considered a career as a journalist. Her passion lay in joining the Indian Army. However, everything changed when she embarked on her professional journey at a Doordarshan Center in Gorakhpur. The experience had a profound impact on her, ultimately leading her to change her mind and pursue a career in journalism.

Chitra Tripathi began her professional journey after relocating from Gorakhpur to Delhi, where she initially found employment at Sahara India.

Chitra Tripathi, a renowned Hindi TV journalist and news anchor, tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Atul Agarwal in 2008. They were spotted together in 2007, a year before their wedding.

Consequently, for the first time since India gained independence, the villagers joyfully experienced the wonders of electricity.
