Controversy | • Argument with Nilperi Şahinkaya: In September 2022, Burak Deniz misbehaved with Turkish actress Nilperi Şahinkaya, while he was drunk. Reportedly, Burak was in Adana for the shooting of the TV series ‘Şahmeran’ and was staying in a hotel. The actress came to the city to attend the Golden Boll Film Festival and was staying in the Sheraton Hotel. On 15 September 2022, the actress was having dinner with her lover and friends in the Sheraton Hotel, where Burak was also present at that time. He went on their table and started cursing and yelling at them. After the incident, Nilperi Şahinkaya claimed to take a legal action against the actor. However, Burak later posted a message on his Instagram story asking for an apology from the actress for his actions. The message reads,
