- On December 30, 2022, a major accident occurred involving Rishabh Pant while he was driving his Mercedes GLE car near Haridwar. The accident took place around 5:30 am when Pant’s car collided with the divider railings on the Delhi-Haridwar highway. The impact caused the car to flip multiple times before catching fire. Kishor Singh, the superintendent of police in Haridwar (rural), reported that upon hearing the loud crash, nearby villagers and local police swiftly gathered at the scene and successfully rescued Pant from the car. They promptly transported him to a nearby hospital in Dehradun. It is important to note that Pant was the driver of the car involved in the accident.
