Mohammad Siraj’s family is not financially prosperous; his father earns a living by driving an auto-rickshaw in Hyderabad.

Initially, he engaged in cricket as a batsman, but subsequently transitioned into a bowler.

His elder brother was the one who encouraged him to pursue a career in professional cricket.

At first, he became a member of the Charminar Cricket Club in Hyderabad.

Siraj’s career reached a significant milestone during the 2015-16 Ranji season. He showcased his talent by taking an impressive 41 wickets in only 9 games, leading to his inclusion in the ‘Rest of India’ squad for the prestigious Irani Cup.

Representing Hyderabad in two consecutive seasons of the Ranji Trophy, Siraj has amassed a grand total of INR 10 Lakhs. With this generous sum, his heartfelt desire is to acquire a new residence for his beloved parents.

It is interesting to note that Siraj began his cricket journey as a batsman during his childhood.
