  • It is said that Jay Shah had dreams of becoming a cricketer in his teenage years. He pursued his aspiration by undergoing professional cricket training for a brief period, under the guidance of former Gujarat Cricket Team coach Jayendra Sehgal.
  • Jay Shah joined his family business of PVC pipes soon after completing his studies at Ahmedabad’s Nirmala University in approximately 2003.
  • In 2004, Jay Shah, inspired by his father’s background as a stockbroker and transition into politics, established a trading business company called Temple Enterprises Pvt Ltd.
  • Jay Shah entered cricket administration in 2009 when he became an executive member of the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCI). Four years later, he was elected as the joint secretary of GCI.
