• During his teenage years, Soham supported his father, a commodities broker, in the small town of Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan. Reflecting on that period, Soham shares, “I started working with my father, who was involved in commodities trading, at a young age. This was a time when cellphones were not yet prevalent, so I would take messages for him using the landline. Due to my higher-pitched voice, many would mistake me for a girl and make remarks to my father like, ‘You have a girl working at your shop, doing the work.'”

• During his upbringing in Sri Ganganagar, Soham developed a profound fascination for movies, just like everyone else. However, his admiration for films, particularly those starring Shah Rukh Khan, set him apart as a devoted fan. Soham Shah found himself walking alongside his idol, Shah Rukh Khan.

• During an interview, he disclosed that Shah Rukh Khan’s DDLJ was the driving force behind his decision to pursue acting as a career. Reflecting on Shah Rukh Khan and DDLJ, he expresses, “When I witnessed Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, I was completely enthralled by Shah Rukh Khan. The film possessed an incredible amalgamation of elements that left me in awe, ranging from his fashionable leather jacket and his thrilling ventures across Europe, to his casual beer-drinking and the captivating manner in which he managed to win over everyone, including Babuji. Soham Shah confidently poses alongside the iconic DDLJ poster.”

• Soham Shah, an ardent admirer of SRK and his film DDLJ, displayed his immense fandom by attending a solo screening of the movie at Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir, which had surpassed 1000 weeks of its run.

To achieve this goal, Soham established a successful real estate business. He explains that his real estate business is his main source of income and serves as the foundation of his financial security. This stability allows him to pursue his passion for filmmaking with the support he has received. Soham’s journey began in Sri Ganganagar, a small town in Rajasthan, where his father worked as a commodities broker, earning only Rs. 3,000 per month. At a young age of 15 or 16, Soham started working alongside his father and eventually branched out into the real estate industry on his own. Once he achieved financial stability, he took the leap to pursue his dreams in the film industry. Recognizing the challenges of relocating to a bustling city like Mumbai, Soham knew that doing so without financial security would have been unwise. Currently, Soham Shah can be found at his Real Estate Business location in Sri Ganganagar.

• After ensuring the stability of his business, Soham departed for Mumbai. Upon his arrival, he quickly realized that the city operated in a completely different manner – everything moved at an incredibly rapid pace. Reflecting on his initial encounters in the city, Soham expresses, “The sheer number of people caught me by surprise. The perpetual commotion and activity overwhelmed me. I even hesitated to ask for a basic cup of coffee. Thoughts of my family and the peacefulness of home inundated my mind. Nevertheless, the high-speed environment required my active involvement in the hustle.”

• During his time in Mumbai, Soham began attending acting workshops and reached out to a family acquaintance who assisted him in networking with individuals in the film industry. Despite numerous auditions and rejections, he eventually secured his first film role in Baabarr.

• Despite the lackluster performance of his first film at the box office, he persisted in striving to establish himself in the industry.

• In no time, he established Recyclewala Films, his very own production house, with a strong focus on creating films that emphasize content.

• Soham achieved his breakthrough with the highly praised Ship of Theseus, in which he portrayed a stockbroker character.
