- Kabir Bedi, an Indian actor, has showcased his talent in a diverse range of Hindi, English, and European films and TV series. Additionally, he has also collaborated with several radio channels as a radio jockey.
- At the tender age of 7, Kabir Bedi showcased his acting talent in his debut theatre performance titled ‘Bandar Da Vyaah.’ A heartwarming photograph immortalizes Kabir Bedi during his childhood, accompanied by his adored mother.
- During an interview, Kabir revealed that he comes from a lineage traced back to Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He mentioned that his mother, who was the first western woman to be ordained in Tibetan Buddhism, had adopted Buddhism and became a Buddhist nun. Kabir also shared that he had a brief experience as a monk at the age of 10, where he learned meditation and Vipassana. He explained that for the last 15 years of her life, his mother dedicated herself to being a Buddhist nun in Tibet. Inspired by her, Kabir too became a monk when he was ordained in Burma at the young age of 10. During his time as a monk, he resided in a monastery for a few months, wandering the streets with a shaved head and traditional robe, carrying a bowl to collect alms from kind-hearted individuals. It seemed that Kabir was already trying to distance himself from her when Parveen entered his life.
- Kabir began his career in 1968 as a film and radio chief at Lintas, Mumbai. During his time there, he served as a writer and director for numerous advertisements in both film and radio. After approximately two years, Kabir moved on to work at Ogilvy & Mather Private Limited, Mumbai, assuming the role of film and radio chief once again.
