Dulquer Salmaan, the son of renowned actor Mammootty and Sulfath Kutty, was born in Kochi. Here is a childhood picture of Dulquer Salmaan.

Dulquer harbored a profound passion for film direction since his early years. At the tender age of 12, he would seize his father’s camera to create short films.

Once Dulquer finished his graduation, he secured a position as a Business Manager at a prestigious firm in the United States.

Afterwards, he moved to Dubai and engaged in an IT-related business for a period of time.

Afterward, he came back to India and enrolled in a three-month acting course at the Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai.

In 2012, he embarked on his acting journey with the portrayal of Harilal/Lalu in the Malayalam movie “Second Show.” His exceptional performance in the film earned him the prestigious Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Dulquer made his appearance in the romantic drama “Bangalore Days” in 2014, which remains one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films to this day.

As part of the safe riding campaign by the Kerala Motor Vehicle department, he participated in a short film.

Dulquer also participated in the Chennai Gives initiative, contributing 150 items which encompassed clothing, shoes, books, school supplies, and crockery items.

In addition to his acting career, he is a talented singer who has performed in several songs, including “Johnny Mone Johnny” from the Malayalam movie ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi (2013).

In Chennai, he is the proprietor of both a car-trading website and a chain of dental businesses.
